last autumn a bunch of music fanatics, mainly musicians, met at the paradise bar in south london, the rest is becoming music history within a year. we are music tourist board. music cos it rules. tourist as in bands / fans / crew on tour. board cos we got fugging bored with the increasingly corporate establishment. lets have a revolution, but make it FUN! a diy rock roll revolution for/by bands/fans real is the new cool develop alternatives to pop idol (i.e. creative, talented, original and on the wavelength of yjr street) subvert the world back to humnity with music practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty wage peace, by any fun and lovely means necessary make friends/help bands set djs, armed with the new rock n roll heroes, loose on the public and stuff!

Phase 1 - Alternative Rock Idol - Oct 003 to Feb 004 was the first success. It achieved much with minimal exposure and an income sponsorship, funding budget of exactly £0,0000.00. Phase 2 - Real Is The New Cool - Mar 004 to Aug 004 took this activity much further, and the New Cross area of Rocklands proved it. Sept 004 celebrates a year of Music Tourist Board with a Rocklands Special on Xfm Radio (20th), Rocklands Rocks event at London Metro Club on 23rd and the first Pop Of The Tops Club out of London on the 24th, while October and November sees the vibe take to the road on the Rocklands Rounded Tour (info at Rocklands website) - network at http://rocklands.1.forumer.com/
